Turkish Turmoil - A highly decorated metal tube hinges open lengthwise to reveal the inside. The tube is opened and shown. A ballon is inflated and the tube is closed around it. Te balloon completely fills th tube and extends from both top and bottom. Both solid metal blades are pushed completely thru the tube. They go inside and out the other. Solid blades may be pushed back and forth. Now, either remove the blades and then the balloon, or you can burst the balloon and open the tube, showing the blades actually pass thru. Welsh Rarebit Pan - Borrow a spectator's hat. Mix ingredients for making a cake in a clear plastic bowl. Show pan empty and pour in the sticky mixture. There is no oven to bake the cake so take the empty hat, start a fire in it and place the pan on the fire to bake the cake. Extinguish the fire, then return the hat unharmed. The basic effect goes like this, on the center of the stage there is a elegant cabinet with picture of a lady on the front. The Illusionist shows this cabinet all around, and introduce a pretty lady assistant to assist him. The Illusionist opens the cabinet & shows a black empty interior. The lady steps into the cabinet, smile towards the audience, wave her hands, & then the Illusionist closes the cabinet. The Audience can still see the lady assistant, while she can show her face, both hands, & one of her leg from holes on the front. Illusionist begins to insert two aluminum blades from one side of the cabinet one by one like penetrating through the lady's body. After making some magical gestures, slowly the Illusionist slides the middle box of this cabinet outside, so this middle box is protruding from another side & divide this cabinet into three boxes in a zigzag manner. In this position, the lady's body seems to be cut into three pieces following the zigzag boxes. |
