Animated Magic Color Book -Granell
The magician shows a coloring book to his audience. At a glance, the book is completely blank in all its pages. The performer asks which characteristic is well known to magicians. When he shows the book again, it appears to have a cartoon of a hat and a colored fan of cards. While leafing through the book the cards appear smaller in a sequence of cartoons, until they disappear totally. At once, the picture of the colored deck inside the case appears and, surprise -- the card deck becomes absolutely real, leaving only the book! When the magician leafs through the book again, from the picture of the empty hat arrives a picture of a bunny. The deck of cards is now given to a spectator to choose a card. The card is placed inside the book. While the pages are flipped through again, a picture showing the bunny taking the card magically appears. It takes the card and cuts it in four pieces. Then it unites the pieces but in an incorrect order. At the end of the book a real card appears out of the book totally restored but arranged as shown in its incorrect order. The spectator now chooses a second card. When showing the interior of the book, the animation of the pages shows the rabbit jumping outside of the hat, it puts its paw into the hat, takes out a card, shows it, and it turns out to be the same card the spectator chose! To finish, the book is shown with the cartoons of the rabbit with a wand in its hand. It transforms the wand in a silk, and as it is extended it appears to have the words "The End!" Effect: The Magician shows 5 bottles of drinks of different flavours and colours. He says one of these brands has hired him to advertise the drink because he has discovered a method to make everyone like it. A spectator is blindfolded with a silk, the magician lifts the Sprits and points it as the preferred drink so the rest of the audience is aware of this. Another spectator chooses a drink in silence from the rest (Coke). This bottle is opened and the drink is poured into a glass. When the spectator that is blindfolded tastes it, he will say it is Sprit! Aces & Silk Chambers
Two clear tubes are shown which contain two colored silks-one red and one green. Each tube has a wood bottom as well as a wood ball top that fits down snugly into the tube and prevents the magician from easily getting to the silks A spectator is asked to choose one of the tubes-let's say they choose the tube with the green silk. The green silk is removed and used to cover the tube containing the red silk. The performer then pulls both of his pants pockets inside out to show them empty then pushes them in again. The four aces are then shown and placed in the performers trousers pocket. After a magical gesture over the silk covered tube, the green silk is removed from over the tube containing the red silk only to find that the red silk has changed into the four aces placed in the performer's pocket just moments earlier! The performer reaches into their pocket and removes the red silk! His pockets are once again turned inside out to show them empty. Aerostatic Milk Bottle - Mysto the Magi
The magician shows a pitcher of water (you supply your own pitcher) and an antique milk bottle. You pour the water form the pitcher into the milk bottle. Place the pitcher on the floor. The magician covers the top of the milk bottle with a playing card or his hand and turns it upside-down. When the card is removed the water stays in the bottle. The Afflicted - Marc Spelmann
A spectator is asked to examine ten figure wound cards, confirming each is different with wounds in different places, the cards are mixed and one selected at random. The remaining cards are hidden from the performers view. The spectator is asked to visualize the performer with the wounds on their chosen card. A pay envelope and a needle are handed to a second spectator who is asked to first confirm there is something inside the envelope and then to pierce a single random hole through the item inside. Turning to the first spectator the performer begins to feel the wounds and indicates three separate places on their body to the astonishment of the spectator who confirms that the areas of the body mentioned are exactly the same as they were thinking of. The performer turns to the second spectator and removes a folded piece of paper from the envelope which proves to be a picture of a figure.. The pierced holes match perfectly with the wounds thought of by the first spectator and felt by the performer for an astonishing climax. There are two routines for The Afflicted, one which is perfect for mentalists and another for Magicians were wounds appear on a figure...
