20 Second Change Card
EFFECT: The magician takes a playing card (the Ace of Spades for example) and lays it on the table or floor. He then places a large glass over the Ace and covers both with a silk. The glass and silk are slid back a little to show that the card is still the Ace of Spades and nothing has changed. Covering the card again, all the performer must do is wait about 20 seconds and the playing card will change its value without any trickery or sleight of hand on his part! Altered States
A card selected from a blue backed deck and signed by a spectator is torn in half. One half is placed in a blue card box; the other in a red card box. Spectator's partial signature is on te face of both halves. The card boxes are shaken and the cards dumped out. The half that came out of the blue box still has a blue back, but the card out of the red box now has a red back. The two cards fit together as do the signatures.$12.00 |
Appearing Decks: Magician removes 3 blue backed cards, 2 red face cards and a black one. He asks spectator to remove black card. This card changes to a red one in the hand of the spectator. Magician now tells spectator that the black card has "jumped" back into wallet, which has been lying on table. Magician opens wallet & takes a red deck of cards out of it. A complete deck of red cards out of a thin wallet, but he needs a blue backed one. He then removes another deck of cards from the wallet at once. Again, this is a red one.
